Overview

What it is.

Documents in the vault carry a complete version history. Every edit produces a new version with the editor's identity, timestamp, and the prior version preserved. Diff any two versions in a side-by-side view with deletions and additions highlighted.

Useful for negotiation history ("how did we end up with this language?") and for audit reconstruction.
